Established in 1984, our family has been proudly supplying the automotive trade and retail sectors quality parts and services for over 35 years.
Our beginnings
In 1984, after a number of years in the industry, founders Tony Hempel and Kerry Young opened the doors of ACBS. Initially heavily involved in supplying mining & agricultural business, the focus soon expanded to include commercial and passenger vehicles. The majority of business centred around rebuilding & reconditioning of OEM clutch and brake specialty parts. Demand for in-house vehicle repairs soon followed as the premises was expanded to incorporate workshop facilities.
Fast forward a few years and we remain a family owned business with a strong focus on supplying industry leading brake & clutch specialty parts. We are enthusiastically involved in amateur motorsport, and have a passion for everything from JDM and Euro to old-school muscle. Seeing the speed of change in the industry in the last few years, the need to keep pace with the latest products and technical diagnosis is more important than ever. This drives us to continually improve our knowledge base, benefiting not only ourselves but more importantly you the customer.

Our staff come from a variety of backgrounds giving each slightly different specialty skill-sets which brings a depth of knowledge to our business.
We will take the time to explain and educate the customer on why the repairs are (or aren’t) neccessary, and any implications in regards to changing the car’s behaviour.
